Public Liability Insurance - Planetarium & equipment

Afternoon.

Does anyone know if say, you take a planetarium to a school whether you need Public Liability Insurance?

Or should the schools insurance cover anything?

Make the assumption that if anything goes wrong the school will not accept any liability at all.

Their insurers will not agree that if anyone comes on site that they will just automatically accept liability for them.

Ask the school for confirmation , but as above i expect you will need to arrange your own

Yes you do need PLI or you could open up yourself to all sorts of problems

edit you should also be CRB checked and the kit PAT tested

some schools ask for your details most assume you have it sorted out(go figure)
