Hi Marin,

Welcome. When I decided to return to astronomy as a hobby several years ago, I had a slightly different approach to choosing equipment. In addittion to recommendations by others, I researched the forums on different sites for a time, noted what gear seemed to have constant issues, and also the scopes and equipment which have "stood the test of time". This I felt was a better approach, as many of todays wonder gizmo's can be a dissapointment tomorrow.

Take your time to find the right scope, and save yourself the hassel of upgrading and trying to sell undesirable equipment.

This is a great hobby, with gear thats right.

Just my two cents worth. :happy11:

Cheers
