Gina, youre too kind With one or two new bits of gear you will get exactly the same results, you've already cracked the dark art of guiding so all you now need is a CCD to take advantage of it. By the time SGL8 rolls around, both of us should be in the position where we can set it up, and then sit back and chill out while the subs roll in. If id stayed with the CG5 for imaging I doubt I would have any hair left by then! Not that it hasnt been a great servant over the past 2 1/2 years, I've had some smashing nights with it (and nights of despair!). Once ive retuned and regreased the dec axis I will probably sell it.
