I have been actively interested in astronomy, as an amateur, since my teenage years, and am now 50 years old. I have a Skywatcher Explorer 150P, and have just this week bought a Coronado PST (sorry - if a new telescope brings clouds then a new solar scope may be responsible for the return of winter!). I have used SGL for some time, and have been impressed by the information and support available here - so much so that I thought it was time I too joined!

My user name? Someone 'bought' me a star for my 50th! I'm also known as Martin!
