First Solar images

Here are a few solar pics I took with my Sky-Watcher Mercury707. I used a custom solar filter and a digital camera held to the eyepiece.

Tell me what you think and If there are any tips you have then I'de love to hear them!

You definately have some sunspots there - If you can get better alignment with your camera you should be able to get the whole disc. It will be tricky with the equipment you have but persevere and you will succeed.

I have taken shots of the entire disc but on those pictures you can't see the sunspots!

Can you change the exposure on your camera? If you can decrease it, you might get the sunspots on the full disc. If not, try covering some of the aperture of the telescope.

I think that's because of the forums update. My pictures can be seen In my album, I mean gallery.
