Your First DSO ever imaged

Hi Everyone

Thought i would like to see some of your

early work compared to a recent image.

Here is my contribution M1 captured on my first night

out with a DSI-c and earlier this year with an Orion Starshoot.

Same scope different f ratio.

He he nice one Ed. Here goes then - 2 M13s both with a nexstar 8" the first at F3.3 and the second at F10. 16 months between them. The first one was my first ever night of imaging - was using an Atik 2HS. 2nd one was with an SXV H9 and a first attempt at using adaptive optics.

I'm afraid I look back at old attempts and bin them - I know I shouldn't!!

TBH, its been so long since I took a DSO, its going to be like starting again anyway!!!!!

I've got an old M57 somewhere but it's no worse than I could manage today, DSO imaging just isn't for me. Gimme a Big Dob any day...
