A few more "Experimental" Spectra

Decided to give 8" / F4 Newt a go - To see how far the Watec would go with spectra of fainter objects.

First a couple of "Red" 4th magnitude stars...

...and then M57 split into it's main emissions - O III and H-alpha? (No darks or flats, obviously!)

As ever I would be wary of any attempting to derive quantitative measurements from these.

But I'm remaining enthusiastic about the general possibilities.

Excellent efforts Macavity - working your way onto fainter and fainter stars is a great idea - you'll be hoping for some supernova next !
