hi all im a total newbie from bradford after lurking here for a while iv decided to get my first telescope this week, i am opting for the skywatcher Heritage 130P Flextube Telescope as i dont have much room available to me at home, and having read some good reviews on here it seems an ideal starter scope. one question as a total beginner is there anything i should be aware of with this scope or is it really good to go out of the box. thanks in advance im sure i will have more questions in the future :(

Hi and welcome to the forum. The scope is a good performer and does what it says on the tin. As Paul has said, it will at some point need to be collimated whether that is straight away or later on - but nothing to worry about.

Clear skies and enjoy the forum,

James
