Handy new imaging device - free dog!

Just knocked this up for solar imaging - best thing I've got so far!

Can now focus my guider and keep an eye on it (its manual at the moment), without having to put my head under a towel to see the screen!

The dog is not essential to the operation of this device, but it does help

Is the image too big? Might need resizing before uploading?

Been having problems since yesteday - they do seem to upload eventually, but I have a really shoddy upload speed here, and on a bad day like today, it takes forever. Unfortunately, there's no upload progress bar on sgl's uploader :/ However, have just noticed its 4 meg....

Well I call the box 'Lifesaver', 'Salvation' and 'You-big-box-of-love', cause it really does make things much easier!

But the dog (he) is Kipper. He's not much use as an astronomer's assistant. I'd rather have Caroline Herscel...

I don't have a dog. Is it possible to mod a chicken for the same purpose?

I don't think chickens would be stable enough. Might be OK if you counter it with a small ferret
