Skymax Synscan AZ Goto Firmware update

Hi All - can anyone advise on firmware updates for Synscan AZ Goto, the 9 pin RS323 lead that connects to scope and PC is not compatible with any of my PCs as they all have 15 slot female connectors........any one help !?

The 15 pin connector on your PC is a vga monitor socket. If your PC doesn't have a serial connector you will need a usb-serial adapter.

Hi Peter, my PC and wifes Netbook both have a port that the RS-232 Cable fits but both the PC and Network do not recognise my Hand Control unit?? Just because the Cable fits into the port would that make the port the correct type?

If the port has 15 pins it will not be a serial port. Do you know the make/model of the netbook ?
