I am buying this to go on the HEQ5 mount. What does the CG5 and CGE mean? Can I connect the scope to the HEQ5 with the CG5 version?

The CG5 dovetail is the same as the standard Vixen/Synta dovetail, the CG5 version of the C8 will fit straight on to your HEQ5. The CGE dovetail is broader and is the same as the Losmandy dovetail, to use the CGE version you would need to replace the normal HEQ5 saddle with one of these adm saddle upgrades. The replacement saddle is longer than the standard saddle and is much better (I have one fitted to my HEQ5 Pro).
