maplins on offer

popped into maplins yesterday when i went to pick up the scope and noticed they had 2 good deals

first was the 3 in 1 powerpack the 7 amp hour jump starter with 12v socket, but it didnt have the compresser so it was alot lighter and smaller, £24.99

and the second was an heated gloves, £9.99

im not sure i only quickly glanced at them, i was going to buy it but it was either the gloves, or a portable clothes dryer for £30 that i desperatly needed as no radiators in the house :'( might go back down tomorrow see if their still there

the powerpack http://www.maplin.co.uk/3-in-1-portable-jumpstarter-383992 the website says 7.5AH but in store it said 17AH so im not sure which is true..... appoligies if im wrong

Hmm, 6xAA batteries for 2 hours warming .... not sold at present!

i was reading that just now i quite liked the vest / hat rather than the gloves. its 9V so couldnt you wire it up to a 9V battery?
