M29, M13 and faint fuzzy widefields

Got to look up what the faint fuzzy is in the M13 shot...

130 F5 Newt Nikon D40 prime focus 60 seconds ISO 400

Just had a look at my charts and it seems that the faint

fuzzy is ngc6207, a mag 11.6 galaxy

Two more goodies Phil. I see a lot of M13 images, and very good they are too, but galactic clusters never seem to get a lot of attention, so I am so pleased to see M29, it is a small galactic group, and it has to be seen at a fairly low power to appreciate it.

Of course not Mike, tweak away mate 8)

What I have done for a bit of fun is cropped out the fuzzy from the full

size image and inverted the image for better clarity.

It doesn't occupy many pixels but it's a galaxy shape for sure 8)

Ok i stretched the histogram, tweaked the levels, compressed it, and played with the RGB and came up with this

That's pulled the shape out Mike 8)

Made a note in my book to re visit that fuzzy but with a barlow

up front to get some more detail

have you tried stacking them?

maybe that`ll bring out some detail

Not last night Mike, I was just on a "sky hop" if you know what I mean...

I've just about got my gear set to it's best now so will be doing some multi subs

stuff as the sky gets darker.
