Had a great night tonight... 8)

Setup my 130mm F5 Newt with D40 at prime focus and shot some

widefields which I will sort through tomorrow

Before packing away, I took a few shots of the moon as it rose over

my roof... :(

Thanks for the encouragement folks..

Was really pleased with this one but I did notice that with using

my 130mm Newt this time, there was a slight drop in detail because of the

lower resolving power compared with my 200mm Newt.

:(

Grrr! I was just about to post a moon pic I was really pleased with and then I saw this and crumpled into a heap and started to weep!

Yes I agree with all the aforesaid comments Phil. That is a glorious picture.

I thing if there was a champions League for wide field Moon pics, you would win the trophy.
