NGC7000

Clear night apart from full moon but I thought I would have a go at deep sky imaging of the NGC7000 as I have had no success in the past. With help from others on the Forum I used the camera 350D lens at 135mm which proved to be too close but I am happy with my first result. 40 subs @ 45 secs ISO 1600

Pretty good that Robin, nice effort!!

One constructive comment, de-saturate the colour a bit to give it a more 'natural' look.

A very rich image Robin. I like the stars, they are nice and sharp, well focused too. Have to agree with Dave though, a tad too much redness,

But that is easily rectified, as I'm sure you will show us.

Thanks for the info, not knowing the object I did not know how it should look. Anyway how's this now ?

That looks a lot better to me Robin, The colour is not as intense in this rework.
