New version of SimSpec released

I've updated the Simspec spreadsheet (V4.0) based on user feedback.

This is specifically laid out to assist in the design or evaluation of any type of spectroscope.

I've included a Data Table file to provide input data for:

Atmospheric transmission

Bolometric corrections

Stellar temperatures

Typical CCD QE curves

and a sample listing of CCD's giving the pixel count/ size.

I hope you find this latest version easier to use....

Regarding QE Curves (spectral responses), do you have one for a Canon 1000d with all filters removed?

I do have a transmission curve...let's see if i can convert it for you...stay tuned.
