Took this on the 27-07-07, 1st chance for weeks.(although the moon was up)

40 odd subs and darks subtracted in DSS.

Processed in P/S

That's a very clean looking M51 M2. It is also very opulent, and quite beautiful.

Are you going to add some colour to it.? Although I thinks it looks fine as it is.

Thanks Ron, have not got the filter wheel yet (still trying to master monochrome), getting the chance to practice has been a bind with all this bad weather.

Yes (Although I would wait until the moon goes away!)
