My first saturn image

I know it's not as good as all awesome saturn images on here

From using simple basic set up took my first ever saturn image.

Telescope was indoors from me side window.

I like it managed to look at saturn for first time with me newt.

using normal eye pieces first before putting cam to telescope.

Imaged using ubisoft wii cam sensor attached to telescope using cheese software quick snapshot imaging using linux.

Given the simple setup, you got something good! I also like to squeeze my budget equipment !

You should try to take a video (any short video will be fine) and then stack the images. I've done the same with a video that I thought wouldn't be worth it as it looked pretty fuzzy, and I magically obtained a pretty good image of saturn.

Looks good to me. I know you show that to someone who isn't in to astronomy and they would be shocked to know you can see and capture the rings of saturn.

Saturn is quite a tough target this apparition, probably even more so if you're working more at the "budget" end of the spectrum. A shame really, given that the rings a quite open and we ought to be able to get a decent view of them.
