tube ring hinge bolt size

can anyone tell me the size for the tube ring hinge bolt ,i read that these are m4 but they are way too small

i am replacing the bolts and countersinking the heads as per astrobaby rotating ring project

had to order a pair , what size telescope ??

i had to send my ordered ones back as too small and reorder , i am willing to sell the spare one when they turn up for no profit only Including postage as i only need the one

maybe a way forward for other members who want to do this mod

I have a skywatcher 200 pds, so the ring is about 230 mm I think.

Would definitely be up for the spare one if appropriate?

I use a 1 metre plastic mearsuring stick its thin enought to just go under the head of the screw....

you really want 2 rings, wouldn't want the scope to slide out when doing the meridian flip. also, i got 2 9" emroidery rings for £5/£6 and they work a treat.
