cannot post picture?

Morning,

I'm trying to post a question with a picture but cannot do so.

The picture is removed from the message & I need to shorten the message to 20000 charactors.

What am I doing wrong?

Help much appreicated.

Are you using the Attach function for the Picture ?

Also 20000 characters seems a lot for a question

I would use a website such as photobucket.com to upload the pic then attach using the attach function as Kai has stated

Hi Kai, I tried copying & pasting the picture into the message box.

I did this because I've seen other threads with a picture included with the text.

Photo bucket is very safe I use it for posting images. To post a picture into a thread there's 2 ways. The easiest way is To go into advanced mode and click the attach images into this thread at the bottem of the page it will bring a popup that you attach the image by either posting it's link or searching your computer. There is a size limit of a image though (same popup explains). The other way is in your personal control panel. Go down to albums creat an album and add images to it. Then when you have done that it will give you a link. Post the link (with tags) into the thread:)

Once it is uploaded to photobucket you can copy the image link into the image address HTTP etc
