C100ED objective lens cap - wanted

Hi all. The objective lens cover on my ED100 has lost one of the locking lugs and no longer wishes to stay attached to the OTA. Could anyone point me in the direction of a replacement cover.

Hi john,

Most of the ceds i have seen the covers dont stay on,

Most people just stick some tape on the inside of the cap to tighten it up a bit

Hi Colin. Tried that already but it's a compromise. Was hopinif someone knew an alternative "cap" I could actually buy.

Mine has some felt on the outside of the clips, perhaps put quite a bit on the other two and it may hold?

I've been using one of the LensCoat Hoodie Lens Caps for my Carton 100mm as I couldn't find anything suitable from any of the astro dealers. They're stretchy but with a hard disk in the end to protect the lens. Might be a solution to your problem. They come in a range of sizes.
