Sorry to butt in, but is the model airplane club field a site you'd need permission to use?

It's not too far from me and I'd like to give it a try. My own attempts at finding a spot haven't been very successful.

i dont see them stopping people from letting their dogs Rubbish on it..

skelbrooke is a pretty good spot you dont have to go in some ones garden just find a good spot thats safe.

Gainsborough got some great spotts i drive a hgv drakeholes seems pretty good.

I never thought of Drakeholes, I've been looking out by Bishops Norton as it looked pretty good on a dark sky map.

I was considering approaching a landowner but I can't think of a way to make it sound like anything other than 'Hi, I'm a total stranger who has been checking out your property on Google Street-View'.

Tried a few spots near skelbrooke last night but theres loads of skyglow on the southern horizon from the silly amount of lighting on the A1.
