My 1st Venus

hi all went out last night and had my 1st crack at Venus and wow what a tough target it is so bright it was near imposible to not over expose it. any way aprox 3000 frames stacked in R6 captured with my webcam attached to 127 mak, all coments welcome

What are the best settings to capture venus with? i found that the planet was so bright even at 20fps i had to have the gain turned right down and was still super bright

i normally have the gain turned right down,then adjust the gamma until its not too bright but you still see all of the object,then the exposure time.

I would just keep shortening the exposure till it looked OK?? You don't make mention of what the shutter speed was??

Thanks Rob, sorry i have already deleted the sharpcap text document with all the capture info, next time out i will save them
