Hi :clouds1:

Can anyone give me some advise on a bushnell deep space series 525x telescope. Are these any good for a first telescope? :clouds1: and what price should i pay for a second hand one. Any advise would be great.

Thanks

Hi Kaz,

That particular scope appears under many guises but all are poorly constructed.

Better to find a second-hand Skywatcher or Celestron with an aperture around 4-5".  They generally sell for about £60-£80.  If I see one on Ebay I will post a link :clouds1:

Hope that helps,

Steve

PS: Try the Telescope4U link at the bottom of the screen; they might be able to find you something suitable...
