Registax is magic, I do altaz solar imaging with manual tweaking, unless here is sudden movement it traps like a trooper! Not tried deepskystacker live yet

Seeing is usually the bane of planetary imaging @ f/10 or slower. My DSOs at f/3.7 is a 'seeing free zone' and works under almost any conditions with impunity

Mike - here's snaps of Venus for May 1 via 30cm SCT @ f/30 + SX Lodestar-C OSC @ 1/1000s in sequence - seeing as always a problem at these f/ratios:rolleyes:
