Shooting Stars

Wonderful viewing conditions over mid Cornwall.

Phenomenal viewing over Pleiades. Wide angle lens they seemed to me to be twinkling tonight and I'm not sure of the time (probably between 2230 and 2250h), a shooting star right across my field of view, burning up just right of centre whilst viewing, pefect! My second of the night as well. The first was at 2215ish whilst viewing Mars. Spoilt really. My first ever shooting star observation through a scope was only on Sat night again whilst studying Mars at 2015ish. Cannot believe how lucky I've been!

Mrs Squashnut popped out for a quick butchers at Saturn and saw one while I was at the EP last night. Slightly jealous.
