The 19 Minute Moon

I'm genuinely amazed that this one came out as well as it did as the moon was seriously low when I started shooting. By the end it was practically setting. So here it is, the 19 minute moon from the evening of the 26th March. So called because 19 minutes is about how long I had to shoot the 14 panes this mosaic is made up of before it disappeared below the treeline. Got the last one just as it did exactly that. Fastest mosaic ever for me.

The closeness of it is probably just the wonders of Imageshack at work. I always upload my lunar images there first then paste the forum link for the pic in. I could have made it look even larger/closer than this. But then the chances are most people wouldn't have even been able to load the pic on their computers :blob10:
