Registax - more or less frames?

Hello all,

Something I have never been able to work out in Registax is whether it is better say for example if you have 4000 frames to stack the 3000 or so that are within 90% of the reference frame or whether is better to limit it to the top 1000 of the frames that might bring that figure up to 93% of the reference.

Should 1000-ish frames be sufficient?
