My first go at startrails

Recommended Posts

For the last two years I have been astro imaging and on every occasion I have tried my best to do everything in my power to stop any star trailing from occurring in my images. Tonight I accepted them in my first attempt at star trail photography.

This was just a test shot really, to get a feel for exposure time, ISO etc. I used my neighbours tree to add some interest to the foreground.

Single 30min exposure @ ISO800, Canon 500D 18-55mm lens.

Stan :)
