starman1969 Posted March 15, 2012 Share Posted March 15, 2012 I get good pics of the Milky Way with ISO 3200, 20-30 secs exposure using a Nikon D7000.You can experiment around these settings, it may also be worth using high ISO NR.I also recommend a very wide lens, too. This is to reduce the effect of stars trailing, due to the long exposure.My best shots are with a 10.5mm fisheye lens Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
