A friend of my can get Celestron Short Reflector LCM 114 Computerised Telescope for £200 new he asking me what can you see with it and is it a good price? As I never see one or use one just like to the group on feedback on it?

That scope is going to be quite limited on what and how well you can see.

I would suggest 150 mm for beginning DSO's

It may give fair views of Lunar and Jupiter/Saturn. will show the phases of Venus,

If you go used you can usually get a decent deal BUT you can also inherit someone elses

Problems. I got bit on a Meade SN8 LXD55, previous owner stripped out the allen head screws on the drive gears.
