Lo all.....

What I would like to know is what you all think of the SkyWatcher 607AZ2......

What are its good points and what are its limitations for a beginner’s scope????

ALL input is gratefully received

at 60mm... it's picking up the light of a pair of 10x60 binoculars...but with the option to magnify... with the correct eyepieces you will see the moon + jupiter + saturn..but in all honesty... save up & get a better 'scope...or check out the used market

I am currently messing about with the Evostar 90 and have to say that if I were a beginner again this is what I would go for. Very forgiving on the SW stock eyepieces (far more so than the 130P reflector) and serves up rather sharp images. Plus no collimation required. I used it on Mars last night and saw surface detail and the polar cap. Also split a few doubles, with nice dark sky between the split stars.
