What Software?

Recommended Posts

OK...So, I purchased a Canon EOS 350D, T ring adaptor and remote control so I can activate the shutter. Part one out of the way!

Now, what software do you all recommend I have on my system? So far I have Photoshop 7.0 and Registax 4. Are there any other programs you prefer to use?

Sorry for all the noob questions!

As above really..

I use Registax, DSLR Focus and Photoshop..

Noel's Actions (A plugin for Photoshop) Is another good one..

Imerge as well, for mosaics..

Try them all then find the ones that you like the most and stick with it..

I also have a 350D.

For the Moon I generally use Registax 4 and Photoshop

For other Solar System objects and DSO's I use ImagesPlus for stacking images and digital processing, and PS for final tweeking. You can focus the 350D using ImagesPlus as well.
