Lovely evening views

Been out this evening, just as the sun has set, and a bit after. Simply lovely view, gorgeous crescent moon, Venus and Jupiter. Moons of Jupiter easy to spot with my Revelation 15x70s. In the background, two jets passed each other leaving an X vapour trail, orange in the sunset glow. Really nice. Not even cold.

Now hoping it stays clear for some star gazing after dark. Got a new scope to play with, too.......

It's crunch time! I'm about to get my bins, I thought I could resist the Revelations because they might not last long. I take it your impressed? Please post any more impressions.

I thinkthe Revelations are very good for the price, particularly since mine were ex-display from Telescope House for £35. Now out of stock at TH, dunno if others have them available. Mine were slightly out of collimation when I got them, but easy to adjust. Now everything's nice and sharp, and they're pretty contrasty too.
