I have just ordered my Scope from FLO Skywatcher 150p Dob:headbang:. Cant wait im getting excited already hope i dont let the dreaded cloud out of the box when i open it

There is a trick to not letting the clouds out unfortunately nobody knows what it is. A good choice for a scope and plenty of dark places round there to use it congrats

Cheers for all the nice comments guys n gals. Ive got a bin bag ready to catch the cloud but i reakon some will get through. Got up this morning to rain. I am in north cornwall near bude so plenty of dark sites and my gardens not to bad so heres hoping for some clear nights.

I was based down at RAF St Mawgan for several years, one of my best postings in the mob because I really loved the area! Wish i'd been a budding astronomer back then as I can imagine there are some really good dark sky sites - mind you up here in Lincolnshire is quite good too! Hope the weather gets better for all of us looking upwards types soon!

I will be getting the 150P Dob as soon as finances allow (March Birthday). Please could you post how you get along with it as soon as you are able to get out.

I broke my neighbours outside light last year with my sons football. Its thick fog here at mo NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!. Had some great clear nights 3 or 4 days ago watched the ISS go over and just sat in my garden with my vintage 10 x 50 bins and enjoyed the lovelly star filed night just amazing.

I just checked on FLO and it says the my 150p dob is out for next day delivery with fedex so should be getting it tomorrow. IDEAL WOHO:hello2: If i do get it tomorrow that will be outstanding service from FLO.

Hope it arrives safe & sound (our 2 parts came across 2 days thanks to fedex) but from the weather forecast down here you may have wait to use it in anger. Assembled ours in great excitment Weds. eve but 10 day forecast shows nothing but dark clouds.
