I'd go for a more "folded" (Cassegrain?) design - A bit of lost contrast maybe,

but having a secondary, bigger than many folks' primary, has it's appeal?

So you first use the Telrad to get to the right area, and then use a startravel 102 to hop to the exact spot. Cool

A simpler option is to use this scope as an example to show your purchase of a 20" dob was nothing excessive :D:D

I think that is a standard Telard. It's just go to shows Telards are so over sized they don't look out of place even on a 48" dob.
