iss buzzes venus and jupiter

Recommended Posts

Thank's Stolenfeather and bunnygod1! yes that is interesting how the ISS appears in a different place depending on the observers location. Is this the effect called parralax or is that something different? gaza's photo shows it passing south of Jupiter and pretty close to it, whereas mine shows it passing north of Jupiter and quite some distance from it.

Heavens above shows it passing much closer to Venus and Jupiter from my location tonight, (on the first pass) it almost seems that it will pass in front of Jupiter. So i shall be attempting to get a photo of that! trouble is at the moment there is a layer of thin high altitude cloud which shows no sign of clearing away, well its got about 40 minutes to improve!
