Feb 18th- Mars Saturn above avg seeing

Recommended Posts

SPX350, PGRFlea3, Astrodon filters.

Mars F51.

Saturn F36.4.

Seeing was not too bad but breeze was bouncing Mars and Saturn about but it reduced for Saturn and seeing improved. Some remains of storm clouds apparent on Saturn and a GIF shows the Red channel with better detail.

Thanks, John.

inspite of the "average" seeing John, it would seem you've managed to bag a hat-full of crackers !! SWEET !!

Wonderful images, John. Love the resolved detail on the ice cap - showing gaps appearing. Brilliant.:)

Mother nature has been messing with me all month, not a single clear night so far for me. :)

If seeing is excellent I bounce up and down on my seat and think about rediculously long fl's and then the cloud comes and I use ripe language.

Hopefully the weather will let up to give a chance to everyone soon, unfortunately Saturn is a bit too low for most but for me it gets to 71 degrees alt here in Brisbane.

John.
