This is what a constellation looks like. Lockheed Constellation that is. With the amount of light you have up there you have as much chance of seeing one of these as the real thing. Still, I suppose you enjoy the long nights of winter and have less LP where you are.

There's a Lockheed Constellation parked at an airstrip outside Flagstaff, AZ, just at the last turn you take to go to Grand Canyon. I heave a sigh and wave each year we go. Beautiful aircraft.

Couldn't agree more! Also the Super Conny. There's no Style in airliners now days. Most of them look fat and cumbersome. Not a 'Betty Grables Leg' in sight.

There is a great conny based in the aircraft hangers at the science museum in Wroughton, every now and again they open up for public days and she sits in her TWA livery.
