Bok globs in NGC2238

Conditions were not ideal for deep space imaging last night with a thin mist blocking photons and reflecting light pollution.

So I went for a high contrast target and and old favourite of mine, the bok globs in the Rosetta nebular.

Conditions got progressively worse as the night went on so I called it a night with only 2.5 hours of Ha data in the bag.

NGC2238 area of the Rosetta nebular in

15 x 600 second Ha subs taken through my usual setup of 10" f4.8 newt, HX916 CCD, TS off axis guider/DMK21 guide cam and EQ6.

You may have been fighting the conditions (it was hazy down here in Devon too but it was mostly at ground level!) but you've got lots of the globules in the image

Yes, this a target I have long considered for a high resolution mosaic but have never gotten around to.

How do you find the TS OAG/DMK21? can you find plenty of guide stars? I'm going to use the same setup.

At 4 seconds I haven't failed to find one within the range of movement in the off axis guiders draw-tube .
