Bok globs in NGC2238

Conditions were not ideal for deep space imaging last night with a thin mist blocking photons and reflecting light pollution.:)

So I went for a high contrast target and and old favourite of mine, the bok globs in the Rosetta nebular.

Conditions got progressively worse as the night went on so I called it a night with only 2.5 hours of Ha data in the bag.

NGC2238 area of the Rosetta nebular in

15 x 600 second Ha subs taken through my usual setup of 10" f4.8 newt, HX916 CCD, TS off axis guider/DMK21 guide cam and EQ6.

Thanks for looking

Mike.

Thanks all for the kind comments.

How do you find the TS OAG/DMK21? can you find plenty of guide stars? I'm going to use the same setup.

At 4 seconds I haven't failed to find one within the range of movement in the off axis guiders draw-tube . :D

Mike.
