At FLO I am grateful, my telescope they did send,

setting it up I had trouble, although help from a friend

Couldn't find the solution,

What's causing confusion!?

I't was just me looking up the wrong end.

OK last few, really enjoying reading these :)

"It's freezing I tell ya, honestly, not faking"

nudging the scope due to my shaking,

is it?! I doubt,

Then let out a shout,

A witness of history in the making.

Clear nights and steady air is what it takes

but slipping on this mud, a good night it won't make,

with a crushing blow

I'm a starfish in the snow

with strewn ep's and a crushed jaffa cake :icon_eek:

A non astronomy clever little limerick I read some years ago;

There once was a fisher named Fischer,

Who went to fish in a fissure,

The fish with a grin,

Pulled the fisherman in,

Now they're fishing the fissure for Fischer!

To answer a common first SGL question:

A mirror or lens in your pipe?

the time to answer is ripe.

If my wife's reading this,

then for telescope bliss,

you clearly need one of each type!

Put a lens, put a lens in your tube!

Reflecting is clearly a boob;

when miscollimation

is sweeping the nation

you'll get lovely round stars as a noob!

or, on reflection:D;

Collimation is not such a fuss

Reflect and become one of us

You must realize

That if you want size

It's a mirror you need in your truss!
