Lunar shots from 03-02-2012

Couple of shots from tonight.

180 Mak Pro on the SkyTee2 (manual tracking is fun). Camera is a Canon 7D.

This shot is an 18 shot prime focus image stitched in Microsoft ICE.

This is a single shot afocal on a Baader Hyperion 8mm but with bottom lens group removed (so around 21mm?)

Good images. I'm always amazed by the difference between the North and South of the Moon.

wow, that second image is a stonker, seeing how it came out you might well have got away with barlow for pure crater detail
