ianaiken
Very nice - thanks for sharing. Going to look at these for a bit now, the amount of smaller craters between the larger craters on the first pic is unreal. Hope that last bit makes sense. barkis
These are exceptional detailed lunar images. If anyone doubts that the moon is an interesting imaging subject, these pictures ought. to dispel those doubts.Top job .Taken with your C8 XLT, and DBK21 and x3 Barlow ?Ron. Jupiterholic
Thanks all. In response to questions asked:Cath, I used the camera in my signature. A DBK21AU04.AS and an 8 inch Schmidt Cassegrain scope.Ags, I was using approximately 500-900 frames of each 2000 frame capture and each pic was made up of multiple panes (pictures) merged together in photoshop. The amount of panes is in the individual pictures titles below each pic.Barkis, Yes I used the XLT but these were shot through a screw in 1.5x barlow which I find is easier to shoot mosaics with (I get lost too easily at higher magnifications and usually miss more bits out )
