Digz
Taken last night (1/2/12). A bit of a punt as the moon was quite bright so I decided to put the moon behind me which meant pointing the camera towards the house and Bristol. To control the lights on the house and light pollution I stopped the camera down to f18 and limited exposures to 2mins.This is 108 x 2min exposures stacked with StarstaX and finished in CS4.A timelapse showing the build up the StarTrails can also be found here:StarTrails on VimeoHope you like.......all comment and critiques welcome. saturn5
You've done a great job here, considering the different light sources you had to combat, very easy to over expose the house lights and foreground area but you've pulled it of very nicely indeed. The image quality is very good too. StarryEyes
Fantastic image. Very neutral light and I'm loving the rainbow lens flare.

Digz
Thanks for the comments guys. Im just in the process of reviewing last nights session. Slightly different angle with more lens flare and unfortunately more spots so the house isn't as clear. Ill share when I've edited it providing the final image isn't a shocker.
