Hi all

Ive just joined . At the mo i have a Bresser Skylux but am hopefully going to get my hands on a Celestron C6-SGT or C8-NGT soon. Im still undecided despite hours on other forums and reading magazines and websites so any more opinons would be gratefully recieved.

Welcome to the SGL. Don't be shy in asking questions, as anything you need to know will undoubtedly be answered on the forum by someone.

As for choosing a new scope, I personally would recommend the larger aperture scope, but, that is only my opinion. Your own hard earned money should be the prime factor in your choice. Having said all that, a six inch telescope is a fine instrument for anyone starting off in the hobby.

More advice will follow from others I'm sure.
