Darth Takahashi
Here is a quick lunar mosaic taken yesterday with the Mewlon. It been awhile since I have use a DSLR with a telescope and it shows!!!I should have used live-view to focus but used the viewfinder instead...Nevermind... Darth Takahashi
Funnily enough I do like a slightly SEPIA moon, Olly but I should have known better regarding the focusing!!! At the viewfinder they looked good but on the computer screen they were too soft!!! Never mind.
Darth Takahashi
I realised that I might have mislead people in to thinking that I have deliberately toned this picture SEPIA, that is not the case at all.:DI had one of those night where the clouds don't rolling, they just get thicker and thicker until your forced inside...My transparency wasn't good to begin with and was getting worse, therefore, there is a natural shift toward the RED light in the spectrum because the BLUE was being scattered etc...I hope that clearifies the SEPIA colour; either that or its terrible processing!!!
gdheib0430
My sepia moon shot was done due to the low exposure level I set my camera to...kind of like the red/brown looking color though but a simple desaturate will change it back to "normal" moon colors...like the different look though.
