Well i've seen fog, rain, hail and snow today, but 7Timer still insists its gonna be clear tonight from 9pm onwards. Fingers crossed.

It was from 9pm here too, but now midnight. Looking out of my window however tells a different story. I knew this would happen, I fixed the focuser today, so it was bound to be cloudy......

scopes been out cooling down, had a quick look at the moon while it was still light.

Thought I'll have my first look at Venus and it's covered in whispy cloud!

Just looked to the NW and a huge bank of cloud is on it's way!!

Time for a beer me thinks!!

Wahoo. Just came in after it cleared from 0100 onwards. Got some very nice views of M35, M36,M37 & M38 and a few double splits. I declare this evening a Triumph!!
