Hello everyone, I have had a telescope now for a few years but shift work and cloudy nights mean I don't get to use it as often as I would like. It's usually clear when I am on nights and cloudy when I am off. My next mission is to get my head around polar alignment as I would like to have a go at web camming a planet. Wish me luck as I have looked at the instructions and although it may sound fairly straightforward, in practice I think it will be alot different:confused:.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Hi welcome to the forum Wilfred :) polar alignment just takes practice, but practice makes perfect :)

I have just bought a cam for taking planetary pics would be great to see how you get on!

I'm just waiting for the clouds to part so I can get a good night of observing and get a chance to use my webcam.
