I thought that I'd post a heads up in the appropriate section.

According sources on Twitter and Facebook via AuroraWatch, there are sightings of the northern lights being reported in the UK from as far south as Northumberland.

The activity seems to be increasing in the wake of a glancing CME last night.

I will be definitely keeping a watch out over the next few hours as the magnetometer readings seem to be increasing :)
