Someone put a new thread on recently talking about the members of the forum getting close to 20,000. Looks like that will happen in the next few hours!

20,000 users, sounds like an app. store, 20,000 apps but only 50 of them are useful, I wonder how many of those are in-use accounts? It certainly doesn't feel like there are 20,000 active users round here, your server would be on it's knees with that kind of traffic

According to latest stats there are 11,972 active users on the forum. I assume these are at least logging on if not actually posting
